Effective Communication: 5 Things to Avoid in Communication

4. Empty words should be avoided because they hold no weight and do not provide anything towards the messaging.

5. Selfishness and vanity does not take into account other people’s viewpoints. Just because one person may like something, does not mean the target audience will. Take into account the entire target audience when developing communication.
